Lenovo has just announced a bunch of new notebooks that will be available on March 29th which is about 5 weeks away. The first batch are the new ThinkPad T Series notebooks and they'll be coming in 14-inch (T420 and T420s) and 15.6-inch (T520) models. They're all packing your choice of Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPUs, optional WiMAX, and even EVDO / HSPA connectivity if you want.
Of course, you also get WiFi b/g/n or a/g/n, Nvidia NVS 4200M graphics with Optimus technology, up to 320GB of HDD storage / 160GB SSD storage. Here's where it gets interesting. The 9-cell battery on the T420 and T520 notebooks will last up to 15 hours and 11 hours, respectively. The T420s on the other hand will last up to 10 hours with a 6-cell battery. Furthermore, if you throw on an additional 9-cell battery slice on the T420 notebook it'll last for a whopping 30 hours. That's insane. The T420, T420s, and T520 will cost $1,029, $1,399, and $999, respectively. Like I said, they'll be available on March 29th.
