HP Releases Updated dv6t and dv7t Notebooks With Core i7 CPUs and High-End AMD GPU

HP has just released two new notebooks, the dv6t and dv7t. These notebooks are actually now available with a beefy spec sheet. They include a 16-inch and 17.3-inch displays, respectively, and pack high-end Core i7 CPU options, an AMD Radeon HD 6570 GPU, a bunch of RAM and HDD options, and Windows 7. They're available on the company's website right now for $999 and $1,099, respectively and there's a free memory (6GB) and hard drive (750GB) upgrad which is pretty awesome. HP Updates Envy 17, dv6, and dv7 Notebooks; All Packing Intel's New Core 2011 CPUs

The first official thing that HP has announced at CES is a bunch of upgrades to their own Envy 17, Pavilion dv6, and dv7 notebooks. All of them now feature Intel Core 2011 CPUs with the Envy 17 being the most powerful of three with the new quad-core Core i7 CPU. Inside the Envy 17 you'll also find WiDi and AMD's new Radeon HD 6850M GPU which will definitely make this a worthy desktop replacement. This notebook will reportedly have up to 2TB of internal storage, the same CoolSense technology that you'll find in the company's dm3 notebook, and the 3D model will have TriDef Ignition Game Player which will give you "stereoscopic 3D for 2D games". Price and release date are still TBA for notebook.

Inside the dv6 and dv7 you'll find the new Intel Core 2011 CPUs (like I already mentioned), less powerful AMD graphics and the dv7 has options for Beats audio. The dv6 and dv7 notebooks will be available on January 9th for $899 and $999, respectively.

Quad-Core Intel Core i7-2630QM 2GHz CPU Leak In an HP dv7

Intel's upcoming Sandy Bridge CPUs have just started leaking out and it has just been spotted on the spec sheet of an HP dv7 notebook. This new quad-core Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU has a clock speed of 2GHz and will be one of the most powerful mobile CPUs to date (if not the fastest). Intel and HP should be making this one official at CES 2011 in early January. Check it out on HP.

HP Releases the 15.6-Inch G62m and the 17.3-Inch Pavilion dv7t Notebooks

It's almost the end of the day but HP thought that today would be a good day to release two new notebooks. The first one is above and it's the 15.6-inch G62m which is available for $529.99 (here). With that price tag you get an Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz CPU, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, and Windows 7. The other notebook the company has pushed out is the 17.3-inch Pavilion dv7t. This one's available for $774.99 (here) and you get an Intel Core i3-380M CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, integrated Intel graphics, and Windows 7.
