MetroPCS Launching 4G (LTE) Android-Based Smartphone In Early 2011, Six More By Mid 2011

Coming from Fierce Wireless is word that MetroPCS in the US will be launching their first 4G LTE capable smartphone in early 2011. Yes, they already have the Samsung (R900) Craft, but that's not a smartphone. Getting back on track, said smartphone will be running the Android OS (hopefully Gingerbread). Right now there's no word who'll be manufacturing this smartphone but apparently they'll have six more LTE capable smartphones by mid 2011. Next year could be the year where 4G starts to take some market share.
