Wirefly Now Taking Pre-Orders For the HTC Arrive On Sprint

If you've been waiting for the HTC 7 Pro in the US then you should know that it'll be hitting Sprint as the HTC Arrive but you should already know that. Wirefly is actually taking pre-orders for the phone right now if you're willing to pay up $49.99 which isn't much. If it's not for a new account then it'll actually cost you $149.99 but that's still cheaper than the $199.99 price tag that it'll be available for on March 20th.

HTC Arrive aka 7 Pro Gets Officially Announced By Sprint, Available On March 20th For $199

Sprint has finally announced it but we all knew it was coming. The HTC Arrive has just been made official and it's the HTC 7 Pro. This handset will be available starting on March 20th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract. The Arrive features quite the spec sheet: a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 16GB of internal storage, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, an Adreno 200 GPU, aGPS, and Windows Phone 7. It's a pretty good handset but Sprint does offer some pretty great smartphones and some of those Android ones even have WiMAX (4G) connectivity. By the way, you can pre-order this handset right now if you want to.

Now we just have to wait for the announcement which will be tomorrow.

WP7-Based HTC Arrive and Kyocera Echo (Sanyo Orange) On Its Way To Sprint?

Two new handsets look like they're Sprint bound if Engadget's tipster is correct. First we have the HTC Arrive which will reportedly be the company's next Windows Phone 7 device. Let's hope it doesn't have anything silly like a flip-out speaker or something. The other handset is going to be the Kyocera Echo which could eventually hit the market as the Sanyo Orange - an even weirder name. Like I said, both could be Sprint-bound so we'll have to wait and see if it really happens. Maybe an MWC announcement for both.
