MSI has just unveiled a tablet that we've all seen before and it's the WindPad 100A. This tablet will be launching with Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" which is different from when we heard the tablet would be launching with Android 2.2. The price hasn't been mentioned yet and it'll be packing a dual-core Tegra 2 CPU. Sadly, the model that was on display at CeBIT is running just Android 2.X so maybe we'll see a new model on display at a later date.

MSI Unveils Two 10-Inch Tablets, Windows 7 Based WindPad 100W and Android-Based 100A
MSI has just announced their latest two tablets and it's the WindPad 100W and 100A. They're both sporting 10-inch displays and the "W" stands for Windows 7, while the "A" stands for Android. So, the 100W features an Intel Atom Z530 1.66GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 32GB SSD, and an HDMI port. Furthermore, Engadget tested this tablet out and mentioned that it was "seriously laggy and unresponsive". Windows 7 on a tablet is clearly not going to work.
The other model is the 100A which features an ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 1GB of RAM, access to the Android Market, and Android 2.2. Sadly, these specs are definitely behind in the Android tablet world which is about to be flooded with Tegra 2 along with Android 3.0 "Honeycomb". You can look past both of these underwhelming tablets from the company.

MSI WindPad 100 Shipping In Q1 2011, Android-Based Tegra 2 Tablet In Q2
Wintel is making a tablet for MSI and it's the WindPad 100. Apparently, the company plans to actually ship this tablet sometime in January / February 2011 and, like the picture above, it'll be running Microsoft's Windows 7 OS. Along with this news, is word that this tablet will actually be available before the company's planned Android tablets. The WindPad 100 will actually be shipping with Intel's Oak Trail CPUs and other specs include a 10-inch display (1,024 x 600 resolution), an SD card slot, and a miniHDMI output.
In April / May we can also expect MSI to push out an ARM-based tablet as well. This one will be running on the Tegra 2 (T20) chipset and will be shipping with Android "Honeycomb", which may be version 2.4 (or 3.0) of the mobile OS from Google.
