MetroPCS Makes the Samsung Galaxy Indulge Official, Available Later This Week For $399

Finally, they've made it official. MetroPCS and Samsung just couldn't wait until MWC to unveil the device you see above. We've known it as the SCH-R910 aka the Forte up to this point and it's just been made official as the Galaxy Indulge. This handset packs a 3.5-inch LCD HVGA display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 1GHz CPU, a 3MP camera, and Android 2.2 with the Touchwiz UI. This is going to be available later this week for $399.99 contract-free.

Samsung Galaxy Indulge Leaks On MetroPCS' Website; 3.5-Inch Display, LTE (4G) Support, and Android 2.2

Samsung Indulge might sound familiar to you and that's because we heard about that name almost a month ago. Well, on MetroPCS' own website, there's a new listing for the Samsung Galaxy Indulge and it's looking like this one is the SCH-R910 Forte that we've been hearing a bit about. Specs line up with it as well. The Indulge is said to be sporting a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display, WiFi support, 4G LTE connectivity, a 1GHz CPU, Swype, and Android 2.2. This one looks like it'll be hitting the carrier for $399.99 contract-free which seems like a pretty darn good deal. Check it out on MetroPCS.

Samsung SCH-R910 Hits the FCC Packing LTE (4G) Connectivity, Headed To MetroPCS

A new handset for Samsung has just hit the FCC and it's the SCH-R910 which may or may not be the Forte. This handset will be hitting MetroPCS in the US and will be sporting a WVGA display, WiFi / Bluetooth support, a 5MP camera, and a 1GHz CPU. Hopefully, Samsung clears the air and makes this official at MWC in less than two weeks. Check it out at the FCC.

MetroPCS Getting Slider Android Handset With LTE, the Samsung Forte -- Or Indulge

It has already leaked before and it looks like another LTE-packing Samsung Android handset is headed to MetroPCS in the US. Apparently, this one will be sporting a touchscreen display, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, a 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.2 with the Touchwiz UI. Clearly, with the QWERTY keyboard it's a bit different from the Samsung SCH-R910 which recently leaked. This one will reportedly be named the Samsung Forte.

Update: According to Phone News, this handset could be launching as the Samsung Indulge on February 23rd. It could also hit the carrier, MetroPCS, for $399.99 contract-free.
