Verizon employees may be happy or sad right now because it looks like their training for the Samsung DROID Charge right now. Unfortunately, we still don't know when it'll be available but at least we know that it should be in the next few weeks. Furthermore, this handset will reportedly support up to 10 devices with its WiFi hotspot capabilities. Make sure you have about $299 handy though, because that's the rumoured price for this one.

Samsung Galaxy S II To Hit Canada In Early Q3, USA To Follow?
There's two superphones I'm waiting for this year: the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S II. We know nothing about the first one launching in Canada yet but it's obvious that the Galaxy S II will eventually find its way to the Great White North. During a Nexus S event this morning, Samsung's VP, Paul Brennan, stated that the Galaxy S II will likely launch in early Q3 (September). That's great news but it is quite a lengthy wait. Furthermore, Canada may reportedly get this device before the US does which would be extremely shocking.

You can bet that the prices will be extremely expensive if you're looking to get this one unlocked because it's one of the best that you'll find out there. Us North Americans will likely have to wait a bit longer - especially Canadians.

Eco-Friendly Samsung Replenish Headed To Sprint, With Android?
We heard about the Samsung Replenish a few days ago but it was rumoured to be a feature phone. New details have trickled in and this is now rumoured to be a "green" Android handset from the company running the Android OS. The press release is reportedly on April 15th with the launch set for May 5th. That's all we know for now but maybe there'll be a solar panel on it or something because it's going to have to "replenish" in some way.

Verizon Branded Samsung Gem Showing Up At Retailers, Launch Imminent
Coming from Chris Ziegler is a few photos of a Samsung Gem with Verizon branding. Yeah, we've been seeing this one for a while but apparently third-party retailers are receiving these right now so the launch is really close. The price is still unknown right now but considering the Android line-up that the carrier already has, this phone should be pretty inexpensive since it's a mid-end one.

Samsung DROID Charge To Be $299 and Incredible 2 For $199, Says Leak
DROID-Life has managed to get their hands on some upcoming prices for future Verizon devices. The most important two are on here are, without a doubt, the Samsung DROID Charge (i510) and the HTC Incredible 2. According to the chart, they'll be available for $299.99 and $199.99, respectively. The former seems a bit high, considering the Thunderbolt launched for $249. The DROID Charge should be launched for that price as well since it's another LTE (4G) device.

Samsung Galaxy S Plus (i9001) Gets Official With 1.4GHz CPU and "Gingerbread"
Yet another variant of the Samsung Galaxy S is initially headed to Russia in late April. This one is the Galaxy S Plus (i9001) which reportedly features a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, 8GB of internal storage, Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" with the Touchwiz UI, a 1,650mAh battery, and a new speedy 1.4GHz CPU. That's a pretty good upgrade, but the rest of the spec sheet stays the same.
This new smartphone will be hitting Russia for 23,990 rubies ($844 USD) which is actually a bit expensive. There's no word if it'll be hitting other places right now so we'll have to wait for that.

Samsung Galaxy Player 5 PMP Hits the FCC, Upcoming Launch
A PMP from Samsung has just been spotted at the FCC and it's the Galaxy Player 5. This one will, obviously, feature a rather large 5-inch display. Specs aren't exactly known yet but this should be similar to the Galaxy S smartphone without the smartphone capabilities, since it's a PMP. Yup, it's WiFi-only. Check it out at the FCC.

Cricket Teases Huawei Ascend 2 and the Samsung Indulge At CTIA
Cricket has just unveiled two phones at CTIA today and they're, of course, both running Google's Android OS. Both of the handsets are CDMA and on the left side you have the Huawei Ascend, which is already available, and on the right it's the upcoming Huawei Ascend 2 which is going to hit the carrier in the future. The display is, unfortunately, still HVGA and it's got an improved 5MP camera on the back. This one will be available for $150 contract-free so that's pretty great.
The other handset that they teased to us is the Samsung Indulge (below) which we've been seeing for a long time. This is the same Samsung Android QWERTY-packing handset that's on MetroPCS but this one's only sporting CDMA connectivity - no LTE (4G). This one's also packing an HVGA display and it's going to launch for $350 contract-free.

Samsung SCH-i510 To Be Verizon's LTE Capable Droid Charge
It looks like the Samsung SCH-i510 smartphone has just gotten a name and it could be the Verizon-bound DROID Charge - rumoured to be the Stealth. This handset should pack 4G (LTE) connectivity as well as an 8MP camera, a front-facing camera, and a Super AMOLED+ display. Other specs are unknown right now but it definitely sounds like a high-end one. Price and release date is still unknown so we'll have to wait for that as well.

HTC EVO 3D's Spec Sheet Leaks Ahead Of CTIA Announcement
It looks like HTC's security wasn't enough to keep PocketNow from snapping the photo above. Yup, those are the leaked specs for the soon to-be-announced EVO 3D which is headed to Sprint. Specs reportedly include a 4.3-inch 3D display with a 960 x 540 resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, a 5MP camera with a flash and 1080p HD (2D) video recording with 720p (3D) video recording, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, and Android with the Sense UI. It's a pretty good spec sheet, I wonder if it'll have WiMAX as well.

Samsung 4G Droid Stealth Pre-Orders Could Start On March 24th, Launch For April 7th; Says Costco
A leak coming from Costco has mentioned that pre-orders for the Samsung 4G Droid Stealth could actually start in just three days - March 24th. Of course, there's no way to confirm this right now so hopefully someone makes it official. The launch date is pegged for April 7th and it'll likely be the carrier's second 4G (LTE) device - after the Thunderbolt from HTC. Price is unknown right now but I'm sure that'll get leaked very soon.

3 UK Launching Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini, Nokia X7, LG Optimus 3D, HTC Flyer, BB Playbook
3 UK may have just leaked some juicy information regarding some upcoming smartphones. Apparently, Samsung is prepping a Galaxy S2 Mini for the future and the launch is reportedly set for April on the carrier. Specs are going to include a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, HSDPA connectivity, WiFi n / Bluetooth support, GPS, a 1.4GHz CPU, WiFi hotspot capabilities, and Android "Gingerbread" with the Touchwiz UI. This is classified as a high-end handset and I'm actually looking to pick this one up because I really like 3.7-inch displays. Don't worry, there's more!
Moving along, it looks like the Symbian^3 based Nokia X7 - that won't be hitting AT&T anymore - will be headed to 3 UK this June, along with the LG Optimus 3D. In May you can expect the 7-inch HTC Flyer tablet and in June you'll be able to pick up a WiFi-only BlackBerry Playbook. Interesting stuff, I'm looking forward to them all!

Samsung Infuse 4G Hits the FCC, On Its Way To AT&T and Possibly Rogers
A new and large Samsung smartphone has just hit the FCC and it's the HSPA+ capable Infuse 4G which is rocking the SGH-i997 model number. Let's hope it gets announced by AT&T soon because we already know that it's headed there. It could also hit the North of the border as well - possibly Rogers. The Infuse 4G packs a 1.2GHz CPU, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, an 8MP AF camera with an LED flash and Full HD 1080p video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and Android with the Touchwiz UI. Keep in mind that Engadget heard that the Infuse would actually be sporting a 4.3-inch display - down from 4.5-inches - because the display might not be ready for mainstream yet. Check it out at the FCC.
