HTC DROID Incredible 2 To Hit Verizon On April 28th

At this point we already know that Verizon intends to launch the HTC DROID Incredible S in the US as the DROID Incredible 2. This handset is actually a pretty good one but you have to keep in mind that Verizon already has a bunch of other desirable handsets in the pipe - as well as ones with LTE (4G) support. According to the image above, from DroidDog, this handset could be available on April 28th - where it should cost $199.

7-Inch HTC Flyer Hitting Europe On May 9th

The title really says it all. In February, we heard that HTC planned to release their 7-inch Flyer tablet globally sometime in Q2 and at their event today they announced that Europe will be getting it on May 9th. Not much left to tell you but before you pick one up you should remember that HTC has "Honeycomb" tablets in the works. Just saying.

HTC Sensation Officially Announced; Packs 4.3-Inch qHD, Dual-Core 1.2GHz, and Gingerbread With Sense 3.0

HTC has made their new flagship phone official today and I was totally wrong about this being a Nexus device. The "Pyramid" has been officially announced as the HTC Sensation and after Vodafone and Qualcomm gave us hints as to what the smartphone would offer we now know everything. The Sensation packs a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540 resolution) Gorilla Glass (Super LCD) display, a dual-core Qualcomm MSM 8260 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB of internal storage, an 8MP AF camera with a dual-LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing camera, a microSD card slot (8GB in the box), 768MB of ROM, an aluminum unibody, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, DLNA, a 1,520mAh battery, an HDMI output, and Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" with the Sense 3.0 UI.

Yeah, that's quite the spec sheet and it's sounding like one of the best smartphones on the market right now. This smartphone will be hitting the UK, Germany, and other European markets in mid-May and, of course, Vodafone will be getting a short exclusive for the device. The company also announced the 4G model which will have HSPA+ and will hit T-Mobile USA later this Summer. If you're interested then there's a promo video below.

Verizon's DROID Incredible 2 and DROID X 2 Smile For the Camera Again

Android Central has picked up more photos of the upcoming HTC DROID Incredible 2 and the Motorola DROID X 2 that's headed to Verizon in the near future. The Incredible 2 is, unsurprisingly, looking just like the Incredible S and it packs an 8MP camera on the back with a dual-LED flash. This one's also rocking Android 2.2 with the Sense UI and it's looking like it'll launch with that OS as well. Check out more photos on their website if you're interested.

The other smartphone that has been caught on camera again is the upcoming DROID X 2 from Motorola. This one's also headed to Verizon, possibly with just Android 2.2 as well. On the back there's an 8MP camera and there's also an HDMI and microUSB port on the side of the device. Of course, if you want to check out more photos, just head over to the website.

T-Mobile USA Looks Like They'll Be Getting the HTC Flyer Too

Thanks to T-Mobile USA's advertising on their YouTube account, it looks like the carrier intends to launch the 7-inch HTC Flyer sometime in the future. The tablet was introduced at CTIA as the EVO View 4G and it's going to be hitting Sprint, but it looks like it's not an exclusive. We don't know when it'll be hitting the carrier but keep in mind that this tablet is still running pre-Honeycomb so it's kind of DOA.

Sprint Announces the HTC Flyer As the EVO View 4G, Launching This Summer

Sprint has just made it official. So, "the next big EVO thing. Only bigger." has turned out to be the HTC EVO View 4G - as expected. This tablet is exactly like the Flyer with its 7-inch 1,024 x 600 resolution display, a 1.5GHz CPU, a 5MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera, 32GB of internal storage, and Sense UI over top of Android except that this one has WiMAX capabilities to take advantage of the carrier's 4G network. The display is capacitive but Sprint is throwing in a capacitive stylus with it as well so you can use that if you don't want to dirty the screen with your greasy fingers. This will be available in the Summer for an unknown price.
