Mobilicity Releasing the Nokia E73 On April 21, Bell Getting the Samsung Galaxy 551 On April 28

At least two more handsets are headed to Canada before the end of the month. First off, Mobilicity will be getting the handset you see above, that's the Nokia E73. This handset will be available starting on April 21st for $159.99 contract-free which is pretty good if you know how to navigate your way around the S60 OS.

Bell will also be getting their own new Android handset a week later, on April 28th. It's going to be what you see above and for a clearer picture you can look below. They're going to be releasing the Samsung Galaxy 551 which is pretty good mid-end handset that'll fit well with their current line-up. This handset features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 resolution, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, WiFi support, a 3MP camera, a microSD card slot, and Android 2.2 "Froyo" with the Touchwiz UI. The price is unknown right now so we'll have to wait for that.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Neo Hits the FCC With AT&T and Canada 3G Bands

Once again, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Neo has just been caught sneaking through the FCC. This time around it has 850/1900MHz bands which is perfect for AT&T in the US and a bunch of major carriers in Canada so this is definitely great news. Don't be surprised if this one gets announced for Canada or AT&T in the near future, cause it'll be a pretty good addition to any carrier if it's priced right. Check it out at the FCC.

HTC Incredible S Looks Like It'll Hit Bell On April 4th For $499

Thanks to a tipster over at Mobile Syrup we now know that Bell intends to release the HTC Incredible S in just over a week. The leak above shows that the smartphone will be launching on April 4th for $499.95 contract-free. Unfortunately, the contract price hasn't been mentioned yet so I won't even bother guessing.

The Incredible S features quite a spec sheet and has a 4-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz CPU, an 8MP camera with a dual-LED flash, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, WiFi / Bluetooth support, a microSD card slot (8GB in the box), and Android 2.2 with the Sense UI. It's a pretty good smartphone for the carrier but keep in mind that the Nexus S will be launching just a couple of days after so maybe you'll want to think about getting that one instead.

Nokia E6 Hits the FCC, Could Be On Its Way To AT&T and T-Mobile USA

Yet another Nokia handset has just hit the FCC and this time it's the Nokia E6. The FCC tells us that this handset has tri-band UMTS/HSDPA (850/1700/1900MHz) connectivity so it'll be good enough for AT&T and T-Mobile in the US (along with a bunch of carriers in Canada). We don't know which carriers it will be hitting right now but hopefully someone announces it soon. I really hate waiting. Check it out at the FCC.

Nokia C6-01 To Hit Bell For $279.95 Sans Contract

Thanks to the recent leak that Mobile Syrup got their hands on we now know that prices that Bell intends to release the Nokia C6-01 for. They're hearing that the Nokia C6-01 will be launching on March 20th for $279.95 contract-free. Now, of course, a lot of people don't buy their phones contract-free so you're going to have to wait for that 3-year price tag to leak. That should be soon.

Best Buy Canada Now Taking Pre-Orders For Bell's Motorola Atrix

It's set to launch on March 17th and it looks like Best Buy Canada is now taking pre-orders for one of the most powerful smartphones in the world, the Motorola Atrix. This smartphone packs a 4-inch qHD display, WiFi hotspot capabilities, a dual-core Tegra 2 CPU, Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR, and HSPA+ connectivity. This is a pretty great Android device on paper but, apparently, it does have some problems. If you're willing to pre-order it for $50 anyway then check it out on Best Buy.

Telus announced it yesterday and everyone else has followed suit. The Google Nexus S, which is made by Samsung, will be hitting Bell, Rogers, Mobilicity, Wind, and Videotron in Canada. This is actually great news for everyone North of the border and maybe more people will actually think about buying this one when they try it out in stores. I'm thinking about it, but it's too bad that it doesn't have a dual-core CPU.

Bell Finally Releases Samsung Galaxy Tab On a 3-Year Contract, A Bit Late

Bell has actually just released the Samsung Galaxy Tab on a 3-year contract if you're still interested in one at this point. With the new tablets already announced at CES and MWC earlier this year this tablet is pretty outdated. Of course, there's also the WiFi-only Galaxy Tab which should be launching soon. Anyways, if you want, the tablet is available on Bell right now for $349.95 on a 3-year contract - it's still $649.95 contract-free. Check it out on Bell.

This handset should also have HSPA+ connectivity so that it'll be able to take advantage of Bell's faster network. This smartphone should be available in the next few weeks, but the price is still TBA.

Bell Releases the HTC HD7 and Telus Releases the HTC Desire HD

The title really says it all. Bell released the HTC HD7 running Windows Phone 7, while Telus released the HTC Desire HD which runs Android 2.2 with the Sense UI. The Desire HD is the better of the two (slightly) because it features a more mature OS, a better camera, and you're able to use it as a WiFi hotspot if you need to. Of course, that makes it $50 more on a 3-year contract ($149.99 vs $99.99). The decision is yours now.
