Best Buy Getting the Toshiba "Honeycomb" Tablet Soon

We're still waiting for Toshiba's "Honeycomb" powered tablet to get official but it looks like it'll be hitting the US through Best Buy soon. If you head over to their website, you'll notice that the tablet is "Coming Soon". This tablet will be on pace with the other high-end Android tablets, sporting a Tegra 2 CPU, a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, a 5MP camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, WiFi b/g/n support, a USB port, a miniUSB port, and an HDMI output.

"Honeycomb" Powered Acer Iconia Tab A500 To Hit Best Buy USA On April 24th For $449

Finally, there'll be a tablet that'll undercut the price of Apple's iPad 2 and try to take some of the tablet market share. Acer has just announced that their Iconia Tab A500 tablet will be hitting Best Buy's across the US starting on April 24th for $449.99. The pre-sales will start on April 14th and keep in mind that this is a WiFi-only model so there's no contracts.

The tablet itself features a 10.1-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a dual-core Tegra 2 CPU, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, 16GB of internal storage, dual cameras, "Honeycomb", a gyroscope, and a battery life of 8 hours. Apparently, a 32GB model is on the way but who knows how long we'll have to wait for that. If you're looking to pick up some accessories, the Bluetooth keyboard is $70, while the multi-media dock with an infrared remote will cost $80.

Nexus S Now Available In Canada On Videotron, Telus, and Koodo Mobile

The first carrier in Canada to release the Nexus S? It was Videotron and they're willing to give you one if you fork over $149.95 on a 3-year contract or for $529.95 contract-free which is a bit high. The smartphone features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz CPU, a 5MP AF camera, WiFi / Bluetooth support, hotspot capabilities, NFC, and stock Android 2.3 "Gingerbread". The next two carriers to release the smartphone were Telus and Koodo Mobile via Best Buy. Telus is offering the smartphone right now for $174.99 on a 3-year contract and Koodo wants $274.99 on the Tab - even more expensive than Videotron. Check it out on Best Buy or Telus. More carriers will have the phone available before the end of the day so just wait a bit.

BlackBerry Playbook Pre-Orders Now Live In US and Canada, Launch Set For April 19th

RIM has just unveiled the official prices for their upcoming BlackBerry Playbook tablet and they're just what we were expecting. They're right in line with the iPad prices so the 16GB WiFi model will cost $499 and then the 32GB and 64GB models cost $599 and $699, respectively. In the US you'll be able to pick one up at AT&T, Best Buy, Office Depot, RadioShack, Sprint, and even Staples. This will be available on April 19th so mark it down on your calendar if you're interested in a 7-inch tablet.

This Friday will be quite a big day for Canadians. Best Buy has announced that they'll be launching the iPad 2 at 10AM but it doesn't look like pre-orders will be kicking off as usual. WiFi-Only Motorola XOOM Up For $599 Pre-Orders In Canada, Shipping April 8th

Finally, we have word on the Motorola XOOM headed to Canada. The WiFi-only variant will be available in April while the 3G model won't be available until "mid-year" so you can expect a June / Summer release for that one. I don't really know why they have to wait so long but, oh well.

Apple iPad 2 Available Now; 1AM PT Online and 5PM Local Time In Various Stores

Today is March 11 and that could only mean one thing. Apple releases their next-generation tablet, the iPad 2 to much fanfare and line-ups. This will be available at 5PM in your timezone and you'll be able to snatch one at Apple Stores, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, AT&T, and even Verizon stores. Of course, there's no LTE (4G) model ready so you're stuck with 3G for probably another year. If you don't want to leave your house into the horrible weather outside then you go online at 1AM PT to order it off of Apple's website. Let's see how many they sell.

Best Buy Canada Now Taking Pre-Orders For Bell's Motorola Atrix

It's set to launch on March 17th and it looks like Best Buy Canada is now taking pre-orders for one of the most powerful smartphones in the world, the Motorola Atrix. This smartphone packs a 4-inch qHD display, WiFi hotspot capabilities, a dual-core Tegra 2 CPU, Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR, and HSPA+ connectivity. This is a pretty great Android device on paper but, apparently, it does have some problems. If you're willing to pre-order it for $50 anyway then check it out on Best Buy.

The tablet itself will be available on Thursday, February 24th for $799. Sadly, there's no word on when the WiFi-only $600 model would be available but it's pretty good for what you're getting. Well, this basically confirms it. This leaked Best Buy flyer states that the Verizon HTC Thunderbolt will be launching for $249.99 on a 2-year contract which is quite a bit especially when you take the monthly contract price into effect. That'll add up for 4G data for sure. And yes, it looks like the contract-free price is set in stone for $749.99 which is definitely expensive and barely cheaper than the $799 Motorola XOOM "Honeycomb" tablet.

Apple's MacBook Pro Refresh May Hit Shelves By March 11th, Says Best Buy Leak

Thanks to a Best Buy inventory screenshot, we could be seeing the new Apple MacBook Pro's starting on March 11th, which is a Friday. Obviously, this can't be confirmed right now but hopefully Apple will unveil these "Sandy Bridge" notebooks soon. These should also be sporting touchscreen displays because the next version of their OS supports some iOS features. Best Buy USA and The Source In Canada Now Have Some Room For the White iPhone 4

Someone has just spotted what you see above at a Best Buy in Houston and it shows a spot for the white iPhone 4 which could actually be available in a few weeks - unless things go horribly wrong again. The photo below was taken in Canada at The Source which says that Bell should be carrying the white smartphone as well. As you can see, it's the same price as the black model so there's no need to worry.
