T-Mobile G2x Officially Launching "Later This Spring", 42Mbps Capabilities If You Want Them
It looks like T-Mobile has just unveiled something pretty interesting. Yes, they officially announced the T-Mobile G2x but the good news here is that this smartphone is actually their first phone that will take advantage of their new 42Mbps (4G) HSPA+ network. Unfortunately, the price and release date is still unknown but it'll be "later this Spring". You should have already heard about this smartphone by now because the specs have been known for a while.
It features a 4-inch WVGA display, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, an 8MP AF camera with an LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 CPU, and Android 2.2 with the company's custom UI. Pretty powerful indeed!
