T-Mobile G2x To Launch On April 15th, G-Slate "Soon" For $529 On a 2-Year Contract

You see that leaked image above? Of course you do. It tells us that a few products could be launching in the next few weeks. On April 15th, we could see the launch of the T-Mobile G2x which is the Optimus 2X for the carrier. The other big launch will be "soon" and it's the LG G-Slate which'll be the 3D "Honeycomb" tablet that we've seen a few times before. Unfortunately, this one will be launching for $529.99 and you'll be stuck on a 2-year contract.

8.9-Inch T-Mobile LG G-Slate Launching For $529.99 On a 2-Year Contract

If you can stay with a tablet for a 2-year contract then you might want to take a look at the T-Mobile G-Slate. This 8.9-inch 3D capable tablet will be hitting the carrier for $529.99 on a 2-year contract which isn't cheap. Keep in mind that it'll actually give you 3D capabilities without the need for glasses which is interesting. The monthly plans start at $20 so the choice will be yours soon.

LG G-Slate Listed At $699 On An E-Tailer's Website

Thanks to an online e-tailer, MobileCity, it looks like the LG G-Slate may actually launch for $699.99 on at least one website. The MSRP for this product is $799.99 so it's pretty expensive but keep in mind that this is a 4G (HSPA+) tablet with 3D capabilities (camera and display). That's some pretty awesome and innovative stuff even though you're still stuck with just a 7-inch display. You certainly won't find either of those things in an iPad.

8.9-Inch LG Optimus Pad Gets Announced With 3D Power and "Honeycomb" Awesomeness

At LG's event earlier this morning they made what you see above official; that's the Optimus Pad which has its own fair share of 3D capabilities. This is exactly like the G-Slate which was announced by LG and T-Mobile USA a few weeks back but this one's intended for the rest of the world. Since that's the case, you should already know that the Optimus Pad features an 8.9-inch 3D display with a 1,280 x 720 resolution, a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 chipset, a 5MP 3D camera on the back with 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing camera, and Android "Honeycomb". Unfortunately, if you're going to get this tablet for the 3D capabilities then you're going to have to wear glasses to see it. If you want to check out what Engadget thought about this tablet then head over to their website with the link below.

LG G-Slate's 3D Power Gets Shown Off On Video -- Gets Pulled Quickly

It looks like 50sElvis on Youtube has just released a 1:20 video showing off the LG G-Slate. It shows off the 3D capabilities of the tablet itself (with the need of glasses), a hint of "Honeycomb", and even shows off the 3D cameras on the back which is pretty awesome stuff. Of course, this tablet headed to T-Mobile USA has the powerful dual-core Tegra 2 chipset but the price is still TBA. Check out the video before it disappears!

Update: The video has been removed by the user, I hope you saw it when you had the chance!

T-Mobile Makes the 8.9-Inch LG G-Slate Official; Packing Tegra 2, 3D Support, and Honeycomb

T-Mobile and LG just couldn't wait until MWC to tell us their great news. They have just officially announced the LG G-Slate which will be running on Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" and has goodies like an 8.9-inch display, a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset, and an HDMI port which will obviously output Full HD content easily. Other specs include a 1,280 x 720 resolution display, a 3D camera on the back, a 5MP rear-facing camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities, 32GB of internal storage, HSPA+ connectivity. The display itself is also 3D capable but you'll unfortunately have to wear glasses. Hopefully, this one works better than Dell's Streak 7 tablet - it can't get much worse. Price is unknown right now and it's expected to be available this Spring - whenever that is.

LG G-Slate and Optimus 3D Leak Ahead Of MWC 2011 Announcement

Two upcoming devices from LG have leaked out today. The first one's coming from Engadget and it was spotted in one of MysteryGuitarMan's YouTube videos. This is the LG G-Slate which is headed to T-Mobile USA. Specs are pretty much unknown for this one right now so we'll have to wait for MWC.

The second one is what you see below, coming from Phandroid. Yes, that's reportedly the LG Optimus 3D. Specs are unknown right now but it might have a display larger than 4-inches, a dual-core CPU, a front-facing camera, and hopefully 3D without the glasses. We should be seeing both of these at MWC.

Leaked T-Mobile USA Document Confirms Dell Streak 7, Vibrant 4G, and LG G-Slate Release Dates

TMoNews picked up some incredible information today. They've just picked up the leak you above which tells us that the Dell Streak 7 will be available on February 2nd, the Samsung Galaxy S (Vibrant) 4G on February 23rd, and the LG G-Slate on March 23rd. And while all that is great things to mark on your calendar, it looks like another picture they picked up (below) tells us that the Dell Streak 7 will be available for $299.99 after rebates which isn't too bad.Of course, I do suggest waiting for the LG G-Slate which will be running Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" when it actually hits the carrier.

LG and T-Mobile Announce the G-Slate Android "Honeycomb" Tablet, Sports HSPA+

LG and T-Mobile have just announced their tablet, the G-Slate. This tablet will, of course, be running Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" and will be launching in the coming months with HSPA+ connectivity. That's all we know right now to be honest. Not even a display size was given but I'm sure we'll find out something about it over the next few hours or days. Check out the video promo of it below since I know you have time to kill.
