With all the tablet hype you might have forgotten about the Acer Iconia notebook which sports dual 14-inch displays. Yes, it might be a hint at what the future will be bringing more of. You'll be able to type using an on-screen keyboard on Windows 7 and it's powered by a speedy Intel Core i5 CPU. Of course, it has support for all types of different multitouch gestures. If you're looking to pick one up then it'll be shipping this April for $1,199 which actually seems like a reasonable price.

Staples Leak Says Iconia Tab Could Launch In April, Toshiba Tablet Set For June
It looks like two more tablets have been dated thanks to an internal leak from Staples. Apparently, the Acer Iconia Tab that's destined for AT&T is scheduled to launch in late April while Toshiba's Android tablet is expected to ship in June. Of course, this is unconfirmed news since everything can change before the actual launch. Be patient young one.

Acer Announces the 10-Inch Android-Based Iconia Tab A500, Destined For Verizon With LTE (4G)
Acer has just announced something pretty big at CES just a few minutes ago and it's their Android-based Iconia Tab A500. This tablet sports a 10.1-inch multitouch display, a Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset, a gyroscope, an HDMI output (that will handle 1080p), 4G (LTE) for Verizon, and a customized UI over top of Android that they call Acer UI 4.5. The price and release date haven't been mentioned yet but we should see a few websites get their hands-on this tablet over the next few days.

Acer Iconia Launching On January 28th In Spain For €1,499
The Acer Iconia was announced a few weeks ago and it's a notebook with two 14-inch displays. According to Acer Spain, this notebook will be available starting on January 28th for a whopping €1,499 ($1,987 USD). This is just about twice as much as the dual-screen Toshiba Libretto that launched a few months ago but Acer's offering is much more powerful so it may make a bit of sense. Beneath the large dual multitouch displays, you get up to 4GB of RAM, up to a 750GB HDD, optional 3G support, a USB 3.0 port, and an Intel Core i5 CPU. Is it worth it for you?

Acer's Dual-Screen Notebook, the Iconia, Packs Two 14-Inch Displays
What you see above is exactly what you think it is and it's being called the Acer Iconia. It should remind you a bit of the Toshiba Libretto and that's because it's a dual-screen laptop. This is a dual-screen notebook that will be running Windows 7 Home Premium and the SDK (Software Development Kit) is said to be available some time in December. Specs include dual 14-inch multitouch displays (1,366 x 768 resolution), Intel Core i5-480M / 560M / 580M CPU options, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, integrated Intel HD graphics, 320GB / 500GB / 640GB / 750GB HDD options, VGA / HDMI outputs, a microphone, an integrated Acer CrystalEye webcam (1,280 x 1,024 resolution), WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 3.0 support, 3G / Ethernet, just a 4-cell battery, two USB 2.0 ports, and a USB 3.0 port. Judging from these specs I don't think you'll be using this one without your charger.
Unfortunately, the price tag and the release date haven't been mentioned yet. You can expect it to be quite expensive though seeing how the Libretto was so expensive - but they still managed to sell out. Anyways, check out an hands-on from Engadget.
