ViewSonic just couldn't keep their lips shut until MWC which starts in a few days and that's probably because bigger companies will announce much, much better devices. The company announced two tablets along with a smartphone early this morning. They're pretty interesting so you might want to click on through to read a bit more.
First up is the ViewPad 10Pro which is a 10-inch tablet which is going to be dual-booting Windows 7 Professional along with Android 2.2 "Froyo" - like I said, pretty interesting. Beneath the 1,024 x 600 LED-backlit display you'll be getting integrated 3G, Bluetooth / WiFi support, and a battery that should only last about 6 hours. The other tablet will be the ViewPad 10s 3G which is similar to the tablet that was unveiled at CES but it'll have, yes, 3G connectivity.
What you see below is a new one, the ViewSonic V350 smartphone. This features a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, WiFi / Bluetooth support, aGPS, a dual-SIM card slot, and Android 2.2 with a custom UI. It's pretty smart that the company made this a dual-SIM capable handset because at least there's a reason to go and get this one now.

ViewSonic Makes Their ViewPad 7 and Dual-Booting ViewPad 10 Tablets Official
Today's turning out to be quite the day for tablets. The Galaxy Tab is now available in the UK but that won't stop ViewSonic from unveiling their own two tablets: the ViewPad 7 and the ViewPad 10. As you might have known, they're sporting 7 and 10-inch touchscreen displays, respectively. The 7-inch model sports a Snapdragon CPU, a 3MP camera on the back, a front-facing VGA camera, 512MB of ROM, 3G connectivity, and Android 2.2. ViewSonic has mentioned that this will have access to the Android Market so let's hope that they're not lying to us. This will be hitting the shelves later this month (November) with an MSRP of $479 which is a bit expensive, but at least you get the App Market, right?
The other tablet is the 10-inch variant which is actually a bit different. The ViewPad 10 is the tablet that will be dual-booting Windows 7 and, unfortunately, just Android 1.6. To make things even worse, this will be available in Q1 2011, which would mean that it would be way behind in Android versions - you can expect two [more] major versions by then. Inside you'll find a 1.66GHz Atom CPU, a 16GB SSD, 1GB of RAM, and Windows 7 Home Premium. You'll be able to get one for $629 if you really want to pick one up. I think it'll be too late by then.
