10-Inch Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 To Sport "Oak Trail" and Win7 Professional, Expect It At CeBIT

Fujitsu has mentioned a bit more details regarding their Stylistic Q550, which is a weird name for a Windows 7 based tablet. Well, said tablet will be fully unveiled at CeBIT 2011 which takes place next month (March) and it'll be powered by an Intel "Oak Trail" Atom CPU which is good news if you're looking for a cheap tablet. Furthermore, it's going to be running Windows 7 Professional on its 10-inch LED display but I wonder if "Oak Trail" can handle that.

Other specs include a 32GB / 64GB SSD, dual cameras, a smartcard slot, a fingerprint reader, a USB port, an optional 3G module, and a battery life that will apparently last up to 8 hours. Expect the unveiling next month and you can check out the video below if you want to see more.

Dell "Rosemount" Windows 7 Tablet Will Sport an "Oak Trail" Atom and Dual-Digitizer

The Dell "Rosemount" leaked on the company's roadmap just yesterday and Engadget is hearing some pretty juicy details regarding the Windows 7 based tablet. Apparently, the 10-inch tablet will be sporting a dual-digitizer so that you'll be able to touch your way around the UI or you'll also be able to use a stylus if that's what you want to do. Other rumoured specs for now include an Intel "Oak Trail" Atom CPU, software encryption, remote wipe, and a removable battery. This tablet may actually be a part of their Latitude line-up so it could be perfect for the enterprise or a business environment.

Fujitsu Reveals 10-Inch Windows 7 Tablet; Android One Is In the Works

At CES there has been a bunch of tablets which is reminiscent of last year. This time here's an offering from Fujitsu which actually doesn't appear to have a name right now. Specs include a 10.1-inch display, an Intel Atom "Oak Trail" Z670 CPU, 2GB of RAM, dual-cameras, and Windows 7. Details other than this are pretty scarce right now so we'll have to wait until Fujitsu announces more. This tablet will reportedly be available in Q2 of this year but the price is still unknown right now.

The company is said to also be working on an Android "Honeycomb" tablet but we don't know what it will look like right now.

HP Ordering 6 to 7 Million Palm WebOS Tablets; Other Manufacturers Will Have Their Own Tablets At CES Too

Coming from Digitimes is word that HP is planning to order 6 to 7 million Inventec built tablets set to become Palm's WebOS-based tablets. This will be taking place in Q1 2011 if it's true and this could very well be the "PalmPad" or the codename "Hurricane" that everyone's getting excited about.

Another Digitimes article has mentioned that tablets from Asus, Acer, Dell, Samsung, and Toshiba are also on the way very soon. Sources are saying it'll be before the end of the year, but I highly doubt that. I guarantee that we'll be seeing them all at CES 2011 in early January 2011 though. These tablets are said to be running on Intel's upcoming Oak Trail platform which are new Z670 Atom CPUs.

Apparently though, Asus is working on a 12-inch tablet that will running on a Core i5 CPU, which would be a beast. I'm going to assume that it'll be running Windows 7 and pricing is said to be $1,000 to $1,300 so it won't be something cheap which is definitely expected. However, I do have a feeling that they may sell out of these because I can't see Asus making a ton of these tablets - kind of like Toshiba and their dual-screen Libretto notebook.

Look out for them all soon, it'll be a great CES. Don't miss it.

Ocosmos OSC1 5-Inch UMPC / MID Leaks, Packing Intel "Oak Trail" CPU

A few more details about the Ocosmos OSC1 has just leaked out and it'll be running the upcoming Intel Oak Trail line-up of CPUs. Specs include a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display (1,024 x 768 resolution), 1.5GHz / 1.9GHz CPU options, a 400MHz GPU, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a 32GB SSD, and Windows 7 to cap things off.

Apparently, the battery life of this UMPC / MID will be a mere 3 hours with the standard battery and 5 to 7 hours with the extended battery. The company is going to try to release this one in Q1 2011 but you never know what could happen until then.

Judging from the picture above you'll be able to play Halo and StarCraft 2, albeit very poorly.
