That's the 32GB (SSD) model, the 64GB (SSD) model is going for $1,099.99. It looks like a decent tablet on paper but we're going to have to get someone to video review this one and see if Windows 7 works on this overpriced but powerful tablet. Check it out on Amazon.

MSI Updates Sixteen Of Their Laptops, Make Way For Intel Core 2011 CPUs
Every manufacturer should be unveiling their whole new line-up of notebooks with Intel's new Core 2011 CPUs at CES by the end of this week and MSI is following up on Lenovo's onslaught. The company has just updated sixteen of their current notebooks to make room for the new CPUs along with some graphical upgrades as well. The larger G Series notebooks (17.3-inch GT780 and 15.6-inch GT680) will feature the new quad-core Core i7 CPU along with Nvidia GeForce GTX 400 / 500 graphics and dual SSDs. The GT680 will be available later this month for $1,499 while the GT780 will be available in Q2 of this year.
The F Series will also have room for Core i7 CPUs but the new base model of the 14-inch FX420 notebook has a Core i5 CPU and will launch at a $699 price point which seems like it's worth it at this point. Next up is their C Series of notebooks which is going for a whopping eight hours of battery life so you can expect Core i3 CPUs in there because they'll need to save all the power they can. Price and release dates for a bunch of these notebooks are unknown right now but that's typical for MSI.

These notebooks, of course, will now be sporting new Intel Core 2011 CPUs (i3 / i5 / i7 options), up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to a 1TB HDD, DVD / Blu-ray drives, optional Bluetooth support, WiFi b/g/n, an HDMI output, USB 2.0 ports, audio jacks, an eSATA, and Windows 7. The smallest model features Nvidia's GeForce 410M GPU, while the larger two pack the more powerful GeForce 525M GPU. These notebooks will be available in the next few months for an undisclosed price.
12-Inch Asus Eee Slate EP121 Gets Announced, Sports Windows 7 and Core i5 CPU
Asus has announced their second tablet of the day and the company has teased this one a few times before. It's the Eee Slate EP121 and this one features an Intel Core i5-470M CPU along with Windows 7. Other specs include a 12-inch IPS display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a Wacom digitizer, 2GB / 4GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, a front-facing camera, and an HDMI port. Windows 7 doesn't really work with a tablet but Asus is still trying to make it work and this harder should run it pretty smoothly. This will be available later this month and will cost you right around $999.

LG XNote P210 Notebook Packs Core i5 CPU and "World's Thinnest Bezel" Display
Just a few days before CES 2011, LG has revealed their Xnote P210 notebook, which sports a 12.5-inch display. Apparently, the notebook itself is just as big as an 11.6-incher but because the display is said to have the "world's thinnest bezel" the company actually managed to cram a 12.5-inch display on this. That's already an amazing feat but don't call it a netbook. Inside you'll find a dual-core Core i5-470UM 1.33GHz CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, and Windows 7 Home Premium. This notebook is going to be available in Korea for 1.3 million won (about $1,135 USD) sometime in February.

HP Ordering 6 to 7 Million Palm WebOS Tablets; Other Manufacturers Will Have Their Own Tablets At CES Too
Coming from Digitimes is word that HP is planning to order 6 to 7 million Inventec built tablets set to become Palm's WebOS-based tablets. This will be taking place in Q1 2011 if it's true and this could very well be the "PalmPad" or the codename "Hurricane" that everyone's getting excited about.
Another Digitimes article has mentioned that tablets from Asus, Acer, Dell, Samsung, and Toshiba are also on the way very soon. Sources are saying it'll be before the end of the year, but I highly doubt that. I guarantee that we'll be seeing them all at CES 2011 in early January 2011 though. These tablets are said to be running on Intel's upcoming Oak Trail platform which are new Z670 Atom CPUs.
Apparently though, Asus is working on a 12-inch tablet that will running on a Core i5 CPU, which would be a beast. I'm going to assume that it'll be running Windows 7 and pricing is said to be $1,000 to $1,300 so it won't be something cheap which is definitely expected. However, I do have a feeling that they may sell out of these because I can't see Asus making a ton of these tablets - kind of like Toshiba and their dual-screen Libretto notebook.
Look out for them all soon, it'll be a great CES. Don't miss it.

Acer's U36 Ultraportable Notebook Gets Detailed, Still Mum On Release Date
We heard about the Acer U36 ultraportable notebook last week and Acer has officially announced absolutely everything you need to know about it. That includes the MSRP which we'll talk about later. Anyways, the U36 notebook packs a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, an Intel Core i5-460M CPU, Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics, 2GB of RAM, Optimus tech, a 500GB HDD, an HDMI output, one USB 3.0 / a few USB 2.0 ports, a 4-cell battery which should last 10 hours, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The (black or silver) body is said to be 0.75-inches and it weighs 1.66kg so it'll be quite easy to bring with you everywhere you go.
Unfortunately, for this model you'll have to give up NT$41,900 which is around $1,375 USD. Quite a bit to pay for, but it could be worth it if you have the money. This is something to get if you want something more powerful than a MacBook Air.
