Samsung GT-i9023 Hits the FCC, Could It Be a Nexus S With Android 2.4?

A new smartphone has just hit the FCC and it's the Samsung GT-i9023. Engadget has just mentioned that this smartphone is shaped exactly like a Nexus S so it could be just that. This handset could be a "Black Silver" Nexus S model because that's what some European retailers have put it up as but it actually could be something a bit better.

The video below is coming from BestBoyZ and Engadget has theorized that the GT-i9023 that hit the FCC could actually be a Nexus S with Android 2.4 which should be the next version of Google's OS (called Ice Cream or Ice Cream Sandwich. It could also have some other improvements including a dual-core CPU (hopefully!) and HSPA+ connectivity for T-Mobile USA (the i9023 has AWS 3G support). Google's probably already testing whatever device this is so we'll really just have to wait. Maybe the unveiling will be at MWC or Google I/O. We'll have to wait and see.

Dell M02M Hits the WiFi Alliance, Will Be Their Next Tablet / MID

It's pretty clear that a new device from Dell is currently being tested, it has just been spotted at the WiFi Alliance. Dubbed the M02M, it's a step up from the Streak which is the M01M. This is clearly a "mobile internet device" with support for WiFi b/g/n so it could very well be a new tablet from the company. It could be a variety of things. It could be the 5-inch Streak 2 aka the Opus One or it could also be the 7 (or 10) inch Looking Glass tablet that was leaked by Engadget back in April. We'll just have to wait and see.

Samsung GT-I9010 Hits the FCC Looking Like a Galaxy S, Could It Be the Nexus Two?

That was definitely quick; everyday we're hearing more and more about the next Google Nexus device. For the time being we'll just call it the Nexus Two, even though that may not be the name when it actually launches. So far we've heard that this smartphone will be a "Google-experience" smartphone, it'll launch with the new version of Android, and it resembles the Galaxy S to a certain extent. Now, the FCC has just let the Samsung I9010 right on through and it definitely sports the same shape as a couple of the Galaxy S variants. In case you forgot, the Galaxy S's model number is the I9000 so you can tell that they'll be quite similar. Check it out at the FCC and even the WiFi Alliance if you're interested.

Motorola MB860 "Olympus" Hits the WiFi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG, Could It Be the Tegra 2 Smartphone?

Something with the codename MB860 has just gotten certified by the WiFi Alliance and the Bluetooth SIG. Of course, this one's coming from Motorola and it's a smartphone of some sort. It should be running Android, but the version it'll be running is still unknown. The codename for this device is the Olympus which doesn't tell us much. Rumour has it that this smartphone is Motorola's Tegra 2 based smartphone but that's unconfirmed right now.
